Two architects from a Springfield firm traveled to Houston Thursday to gather information for design work on a new library in Houston. The Texas County Library system, like many entities, are hoping to gain funds from the economic stimulus under debate in Washington. Sapp Design Associates were recently selected to design the structure, which will be situated atop the Houston Storm Shelter at Pine and First Streets in Houston.
