A view of the damage done to the booster club concession stand at the HHS football field. It was discovered Friday morning.

The booster club’s concession stand at the HHS football field was struck by vandals, who littered the building with coffee beans, ketchup, paint and other items.

The vandalism was noticed just before 10 a.m. Friday morning by Todd McKinney, who found coffee cans and other items thrown outside the building. The door was locked.

Jeff McNiell, booster club president, said nothing appeared to be missing. He said the organization was fortunate it had not restocked for the upcoming football season.

A report was filed with the Houston Police Department. An area around the lock was cut, and an officer was able to use a credit card to open the locked door within a matter of seconds, McNiell said. He believes the vandals used the same measure to gain entry into the building.
