Joleen Durham, public relations director at TCMH, passed along this note pertaining to today’s blood drive at the hospital:

“The CBCO has had to cancel four area blood drives this week due to inclement weather. The blood supply is very low. If you are an eligible donor, please make every effort to donate at the drive held on Friday at TCMH. Thank you!”

For Immediate Release from TCMH — Texas County Memorial Hospital is hosting a blood drive on Fri., Jan. 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) will collect blood donations in the downstairs meeting room of the hospital.

Eligible donors can be anyone 16 years old or older who weighs at least 110 pounds and has not given blood in the last 56 days. All donors must provide identification when registering to donate.
